According to the IMDB Page of the 2012 film 'Perks of Being a Wallflower', the location of the film is going to be at Philippine Racing Club, Sta. Ana, Makati City, Metro Manila, Luzon, Philippines.
Are you serious? I'm not an IMDB expert so I don't know if this is true. If this is true... then OMG... it will be the happiest day of my life!!! To meet or to see Emma personally is such a dream come true.

Most of those articles including the one the commenter above me just posted got that info on IMDB which is not very reliable. anyone with an IMDBpro account can edit that. As of now, only Lerman and Watson are confirmed casts, no Oprah Winfrey or Larry David. Someone from the Philippines with an IMDB pro obviously added that fake info up. Production Weekly has been consistent with the Pittsburg filming location which is where the book was set. Plus, you can't shoot a movie like Perks in the Philippines, the location is just too different.
